Sales Engineer, EXHEAT Process Heat India Pvt Ltd

This role is based within our India office.

ACADEMIC & CAREER BACKGROUND

  • Graduate Engineer(Mechanical/Electrical) with 4+ years of experience in Sales of Industrial/capital equipments
  • Experience of dealing with EPC companies, OEM’s and packagers particularly in Oil and Gas Industry preferred
  • Experience in Electrical process heaters and hazardous area equipments will be added advantage

  • Must be a totally result-oriented professional, driven by achievement and target fulfilment
  • Technically sound on capital equipment sale to the customers in the core sector of economy, particularly Oil & Gas
  •  Must be out and out a marketing person with ability to build, develop and nurture contacts
  • Have keen commercial acumen to conclude profitable deals in any given business situation
  • Willing to travel occasionally as per business needs
  • Have excellent communication skills – both oral and written English. 
  • Have ability to connect with and establish relationship with foreign Principals of different ethnic origins and countries

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Sales, Marketing and Business Development of company’s product range within allocated territories
  • Overall achievement of Sales target
  • Learn and fully understand technical aspects of engineered products, internal processes
  • Learn and understand proposal design sheets, cost estimation and optimisation
  • Working towards building relationships with existing customers within specific regions/industries
  • Arrange and visit existing customers and potential prospects to present company and products and investigate potential leads
  • Track global Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects originating within regions/industries or with regional influences
  • Accurate order target projections and pipeline reporting for all product sales 
  • Management of full sales lifecycle including price setting, T&C negotiations, clarifications, contract negotiations, project handover and monitoring of project delivery lifecycle
  • Social interaction and building a strong relationship with Oil and Gas Industry people through having meetings periodically, conferences, seminars, exhibitions, and business partners meet
  • Ownership and management of vendor approvals, project pre-qualifications and other administrative certification requirements
  • Development of new sales opportunities outside of current client base, new customer identification and enquiry generation
  • Ensure all quotations meet customer requirements, and comply with all business specifications and regulations
